What's the difference between a planner and a decorator?

When planning an event, sometimes you need help. Not sure what you need? Here's the difference so you can make the choice to get your process started:


Planner- Someone to plan your affair because you have your own decorator or you are decorating the venue yourself and simply need a bit of direction. I will help you create a plan for your special day- give ideas, provide project timelines, vendor referrals, vendor coordination, and day of coordination if desired.


Decorator- This is when you have your plan and know what you want to do, how you want to do it, and simply need someone to decorate your venue. This means that on the day of your event, I will decorate the venue based on your provided plan. I can assist with budgeting ideas, theme ideas, project timelines and possible vendor referrals. 


Sometimes, you need someone to be both. Someone who will plan the event, with your input-of course, and complete the décor on the day of.


All of these jobs require team work and I am here to help you with whatever your needs may be. I can be one, the other, or all of them rolled into one.
